The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment is the leading professional
body for securities, investment, wealth and financial planning professionals.
Formed in 1992 by London Stock Exchange practitioners, they have a global
community of circa 45,000 members in 121 countries and last year more than
40,000 CISI exams were sat in 80 countries, 15,000 taken outside the UK.

This qualification is an important first step in developing the essential basic
knowledge required for working in financial services. It provides a broad
overview of the industry and could be your stepping stone to a career in financial
services.
You will learn about the types of banking and commonly used financial
products, such as shares, bonds and insurance. It will provide you with an
understanding of financial terminology and enable you to perform important
basic calculations.

FFS History
Treasures Training, a subsidiary of TCS, was founded in 2017. As an
Accredited Training Partner for the Chartered Institute for Securities and
Investment (CISI), Treasures Training’s primary mission is to deliver CISI
courses across Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, the GCC, including KSA, Qatar, and
Dubai.

IISI offers a broad introduction to the financial services professional sector, with
a specific focus on investments from a global perspective. It is the foundation
exam for many higher level CISI qualifications.
The qualification focuses on international markets and covers key financial
principles and products in depth including assets and markets, equities, bonds,
derivatives and investment funds. It explores the broader economic
environment in which the financial services profession operates and looks at
how economic activity is determined and managed in different economic and
political systems. The qualification offers an introduction to financial services
regulation and ensures candidates are provided with an understanding of
ethical behaviour and acting with integrity.
